The interactive checklist stores selections only in your browser. Contact form submissions are emailed to contact@middleprinciple.com and are not stored in a website database. Do not include sensitive personal data beyond what is needed for a reply.

Cookies

Necessary cookies support security, sessions and short-lived white-paper download unlocks. Analytics cookies and scripts (Google Analytics 4, plus first-party page/download counts stored in our database) load only after you accept analytics in the cookie banner. Marketing preferences are stored for future campaign tags and stay off unless you enable them. You can change your choice anytime via Cookie settings in the footer.

White paper downloads

When you download the PDF, we ask for your email and marketing consent. We store your email, consent status and download source in Supabase so we can send occasional emails about The Middle Principle and measure downloads. Emails are sent using Resend from our domain.

Every marketing email includes a one-click unsubscribe link. You can also email chris@middleprinciple.com to ask us to remove your details. The unsubscribe page is unsubscribe.php.

Student guide

When you unlock the student guide, we store your email, role (student, teacher/lecturer or parent), consent and source on the student list. We email you a time-limited link to download the digital PDF guide, and may send occasional student-related emails while you remain subscribed. The interactive guide also uses a short-lived unlock cookie so you can return without signing up again. Staff preview links (for example a lecturer share URL) unlock the guide without collecting an email; we may log an anonymous view count for that link.

Back to School Guide 26/27

If you request the Back to School Guide via our LinkedIn ads landing page, we store your name, school email address, email domain, teaching context (phase, role, subject taught), matched school details where available, optional school name, consent and campaign tags. We use your school email domain to locate public school information and may fetch publicly available subject/curriculum pages on your school website to personalise a Google Slides guide stored in our Google Drive. We email a tracked link to that guide and a weekday follow-up sequence. Clicks on the guide link are logged so we can see whether the guide was opened. You can unsubscribe anytime.

Retention

Analytics events are kept to understand site usage and improve the white paper. Lead records are kept while you remain subscribed or until you ask us to delete them. We do not sell personal data.
